CYANOTYPE printing

A hands-on exploration of one of the oldest photographic printing processes, combining historical techniques with contemporary approaches. In this workshop, participants will engage with the fundamentals of cyanotype printing from preparing sensitized paper to composing photograms using natural materials such as leaves and plants. The session also includes working with digital or film negatives to expand creative possibilities. Alongside the printing process, participants will gain insight into the chemistry behind the technique and its rich historical context, all while creating unique, one-of-a-kind prints in deep blue.

Pinhole camera

This workshop begins with a brief look at the history of photography and an overview of basic camera anatomy. Participants will then be guided step-by-step in building their own functional pinhole camera. Once assembled, we’ll load the cameras, take photographs, and process the images in a darkroom together. Through hands-on experimentation, the session offers insight into the fundamental principles of light, exposure, and image formation, all while celebrating the magic of analog photography at its most elemental.
